How does a family pick up the pieces and find good things again? Listen and be completely inspired.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Johannesburg, South Africa (6 June 2018)<\/em> &#8211; It&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodthingsguy.com\/people\/baby-eden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">story<\/a> that rocked the nation. On the 2nd of May 2018, the Pink Ladies (an organisation for Missing Children in South Africa) issued a kidnapped child alert after it was alleged that a domestic worker took a Baby named Eden, tied on her back with a light blue blanket, for a walk\u2026 and did not return to the family home in Brackendowns, Alberton.<\/p>\n<p>The nation watched with heartbreak as the minutes turned into hours and then turned into days. South Africa had become invested in a story where everyone was waiting for some good news.<\/p>\n<p>And four days later that good news came. Baby Eden had been reunited with his family, and his story had restored hope in so many South Africans.<\/p>\n<p>Baby Eden&#8217;s mom, Bronwyn Laird joined the Good Things Guy in studio to chat a little bit about the story.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;We\u2019ve seen miracles happen and prayers answered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">We cannot allow what 6 individuals, 5 of whom we have never even met &#8211;<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>what they chose to do &#8211; to affect how we see the world, how we evaluate relationships going forward or how we live our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Hate just isn\u2019t in our vocabulary. Hate changes nothing but love changes everything. So today I choose to lift my eyes to my source of strength and push through anyway, today I choose to pray through the overwhelm and press into love anyway, today I choose to reach out to my ever-loving Father knowing He will carry me so I can thrive anyway. Today\u2026.and every day, no matter how my heart is feeling, no matter how the day or season may end, I will always choose to trust Jesus, to choose Jesus and know without any shadow of a doubt, He is with me, He is for me, He is mightier, He is stronger, He is healing me and working everything for my best.
