The Eco-Logic Awards rolled out the green carpet in Cape Town this week to celebrate the people, organisations and businesses putting the planet first.<\/h2>\n

Cape Town, South Africa (30 October 2025)<\/em> \u2013 South Africans are good at many things, but one thing we don\u2019t always give ourselves enough credit for is the way we step up for the environment. The fierceness to protect our natural world runs deep here.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why this week\u2019s Eco-Logic Awards held at the Two Oceans Aquarium are so important. We should always honour and take pride in the local heroes doing good for our planet, just as we do our celebs flying the SA flag high.<\/p>\n

Our eco warriors are stars in their own right. Green stars.<\/p>\n

The awards have been going for 14 years now, celebrating the many minds who find creative ways to do better by the planet. This year, with comedian Themba Robin as host, it celebrated winners across 12 categories, including climate change solutions, water conservation, circular economy projects, eco-fashion, and community-driven programmes.<\/p>\n

The best-dressed were also given their flowers!<\/p>\n

The awards culminated with a Lifetime Achievement Award, which honours someone who has spent decades making an impact.<\/p>\n
