A sold-out Cape Town Stadium, buzzing fan support at the V&A Waterfront, and a second shot at Panama set the scene for an exciting international friendly.

Cape Town, South Africa (30 March 2026) – Cape Town is locked in and ready.

With tickets completely sold out at Cape Town Stadium, the stage is set for Bafana Bafana to run it back against Panama national football team in what’s shaping up to be a lively international friendly on Tuesday evening. And the support has already been loud.

From the moment the squad touched down in the Mother City, fans made their presence felt at the V&A Waterfront. Crowds gathered in their numbers for a meet-and-greet session with the players. Jerseys were signed and photos were taken.

It’s the kind of vibe that reminds you just how much this team means to South Africans.

On the pitch, the last meeting between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw in Durban. Head coach Hugo Broos acknowledged the effort, while also backing his players to build on it heading into the second clash.

And now, with a packed stadium behind them, the opportunity is there to raise the level even higher.

There’s also been a noticeable buzz around the team off the field, especially with the release of the new kit, which fans have been proudly rocking while showing their support.

A moment for connection, for pride, and for Bafana to put on a show in front of a home crowd that’s fully behind them.

Cape Town has done its part. Now, it’s over to the boys.
